It can be seen from the start when we see Ahsoka Tano, who is one year old, face a crisis while out hunting with her mother. Ahsoka is a beloved character, and this sets the path of fearlessness while growing up in a tight-knit community that loved nature. Let’s check on the rest of the series.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is created by Dave Filoni, a known name within the Star Wars production community, who has produced Rebels, The Bad Watch, Clone Wars, and The Mandalorian. It consists of six animated shorts that tell life-changing moments from two divergent lives. Three episodes are about Ahsoka, from toddler to post-Order 66 exile, while the other is about Count Dooku, who went from noble Jedi Master to a sinister Sith Lord.

As we explore their journeys, we see them interacting with other prominent characters like Anakin Skywalker, Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu, and Captain Rex. We even see Yaddle in a fight sequence.

    The Review

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi isn’t a masterpiece by any means, but at the same time, every fan can find something to appreciate in it. We feel the emotions piling up seeing Anakin being mentored by Ahsoka. A closer look is given to Dooku’s rise to villainy may make some viewers better appreciate Qui-Gon Jinn and Palpatine’s roles in the prequels. The fall of the Galactic Republic due to corruption, greed, and constantly mistreating the citizens form the rest of the series.

In conclusion, Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is an enjoyable watch for fans, but not something that newcomers could jump into.
