Sally Dies Of Heart Failure

Sally Clare Kellerman was an American actress, author and a singer. On, 24th of February 2022, she dies of heart failure at her home in Woodland Hills in Los Angeles. She was 84 years old when she passed away.

The news of her death was given by her manager and publicist, Alan Eichler.

Achievements And Awards

Sally has been the part of the industry since the past 60 years and she has been commendable.

In 1970, she earned her Oscar nominations for the best supporting role in the movie, MASH by Robert Altman. She was playing the character of Major Margaret Houlihan also known as Hot Lips. Further, she earned many nominations and even awards for her role. She was in the nominations of the Golden Globe Awards and Academy Award for her role in that movie.

Further, in 2013, she earned the Lifetime Achievement Award at Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. Later, in 2015, she was the nominee for the Daytime Emmy Award for playing as the special guest in the movie, The Young And The Restless.

Sally’s Famous Career

Born in 1937, in California, Sally was the daughter of a piano teacher. Further, she had attended the Hollywood High School.

Initially, she had interest in jazz singing but later on, she chose acting as her career. Till 1972, she has not launched any singles of her when she launched her single Roll With The Feeling.

After her role in the movie MASH, in1970, she appeared signed many projects after projects. Few of her famous appearance includes, It Rained All Night The Day I Left, Brewster McCloud and Night Club and many more.

Further, she was in many television series like The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, Chemistry, Maron and few more.
