Shocking! Bruno Mars stunned the industry by withdrawing the Popular  “An Evening With Silk Sonic” from the Grammy Awards 2023

Bruno Mars Retracted Silk Sonic

The decision by Bruno Mars and Anderson. Paak to forego a Grammy nomination for their chart-topping album “An Evening With Silk Sonic” surprised the whole industry on Thursday.

In November 2021, Anderson and Bruno Mars announced their collaborative album, “An Evening With Silk Sonic.” Silk Sonic won four Grammy Awards for the album’s main song, “Leave the Door Open,” including Track of the Year, Best R&B Performance, and Best R&B Composition. The record would have been eligible for the 2023 Grammys even though it wasn’t formally revealed until November 2021.

Bruno stated to Stone Magazine that they would like to graciously, modestly, and most significantly, sexually, withdraw from submitting their record this year. He continued by saying that it would be absurd to expect any more from the individuals involved in this project because they had already achieved the time in history when their record was widely recognised and appreciated. He praised the Grammys for both awarding them last year and enabling them to perform twice on their prominent and well-known stage.

The Shocking decision

Grammy nominations do not occur randomly or spontaneously; rather, the artist’s record label must submit the record, and if the artist does not want their record submitted, it is the equivalent of pulling from candidacy. According to rumors’, Mars withheld his record in reaction to criticism he received after his “24K Magic” album and related tracks won the top three honors. He defeated Jay-Z, one of the most well-known hip-hop musicians, who was nominated for roughly eight awards but didn’t win any of them. Bruno Mars may have been trying to head off a similar controversy before it arose again because Jay’s exclusion from the Grammys led to a backlash against the awards show.

The source claims that on November 15, the Grammy nominees will be unveiled. On February 5, 2023, the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles will stage the 65th Grammy Awards.
