What will the ace director will be returning with?

We learned last year that acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino would be ending his esteemed Hollywood career with his tenth directorial. The director had spoken about it while he was promoting his new book based on his most recent film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. And now, during an interview on CNN’s Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?, Tarantino was asked again about why he will be ending his career after the tenth film, despite delivering so many hits. Let’s find out.

Quentin Tarantino shot to fame with crime dramas like Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, and went on to make amazing war dramas like Inglorious Basterds. He is a firm favorite of movie buffs and is often studied in film classes. The director is even the receiver of two Academy Awards, along with numerous other honors. In the interview, he told Chris Wallace about his decision to leave the industry, and also about his fears of the industry rapidly changing around him.

The director started by saying that he had been doing films for 30 years now, and called himself an entertainer. His decision is to leave everyone wanting more, and not keep on working to diminishing returns. He didn’t want to become this old man who is out of touch, and he is in fact, actually feeling that he’s out of touch with the movies that are currently out.

    Not in a hurry

Wallace then asked what his final movie will be. Quentin Tarantino had been rumored to be making the much-awaited Kill Bill: Vol. 3, and even he gave some words of hope from time to time. But Tarantino said that he’s taking his time to decide what it will be, and at this point, he doesn’t even know what it’s going to be. He even toyed with the idea of the next project being from Netflix or Amazon, but then said his last movie opened in 3000 theatres and played over the world for a couple of months.
