That’s right, the two actresses are sisters-in-law following their marriages to twin rock stars
Cameron Diaz had a ball of a time after a fan reminded the rest of her Instagram followers that the Charlie’s Angels star was related to actress and television personality Nicole Ritchie.
This weekend, the Betches Instagram account shared a tweet by Ashley Fern which was as follows: “Nicole Richie & Cameron Diaz are sister in laws and I feel like we don’t talk about that enough.” From the reaction in the comments section, it seemed like many were oblivious to the fact.

Even Diaz joined in on the confusion, commenting “👯♀️🤯!!!😉😉@nicolerichie.”
As many of us know, Diaz I’d married to rock musician Benji Madden, while Nicole is married to his identical twin brother and fellow musician in their band Good Charlotte, Joel Madden. Nicole got hitched to Joel in 2010, and introduced Diaz to her brother-in-law in 2014. The rest you know, is history as the couple didn’t waste any time and got married in January 2015 at a ceremony that took place at their Beverley Hills home.
Diaz and Madden welcomed their first child, a daughter called Raddix, in December 2019. Cameron was a guest in The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon two months ago and gushed about her daughter, calling her “the best thing that happened” to both Benji and her and how it was like being a new mom. She also spoke about getting to spend time with her family during the ongoing pandemic.
She said that the good part about COVID-19 is that families get to spend more time together, and how her husband is able to play with their baby as he’s working from home, and he wouldn’t have been able to do that if it weren’t for the lockdown.
