Therefore, Lisa’s new song ‘LALISA’ shot to the top of iTunes charts in 60 countries and compiled nearly 79 million views on YouTube in a day.

YG Entertainment formed the South Korean girl group BLACKPINK – commonly stylized as BLACKPINK or BLΛƆKPIИK. It consists of Rose, Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa. Furthermore, Pink was chosen to contrast with the perception of femininity associated with the colour.

With over 79 million views in its first 24 hours, ‘LALISA’ has already set a record for the most views achieved by a solo artist’s music video. In addition, Lisa’s b-side, “MONEY” went to number 2 on the Billboard charts. ‘LALISA’ showcased a stellar debut performance on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’. Lisa captivated the audience with her stylish attitude and charismatic stage presence.
