Behind-the-Scenes Glimpses of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes
Rachel Zeglers appeared on TikTok Thursday, taking fans behind the scenes of the hit new movie, The Hunger Games. West Side Story actress Rachel Zegler is set to play Lucy Grey Baird, and in Gilded Ages Tom Blyth is set to play Coriolanus Snow in the forthcoming Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
Primarily about the relationship between the young Coriolanus Snow and Lucy Grey Baird, and The Tenth Hunger Games, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is intended to tell a decidedly different story than The Hunger Games and The Hunger Games sequel.
About the Movie Series
The stories in The Hunger Games film series would have essentially explored the history and background of Panem and The Hunger Games, and as such, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes would no doubt outdo its predecessors when it comes to world building.
This prequel Hunger Games movie has already revealed that two of its stars will be actors Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler.
The director of the past three Hunger Games films, Francis Lawrence, will be returning to direct this new movie, while the films series writer, Suzanne Collins, will be serving as an executive producer. After American writer Suzanne Collins’s Hunger Games novel was published, Hollywood movie studios began looking to adapt the book to the screen.
By 2012, Hollywood had gotten a handle on the franchise The Hunger Games, which led to the release of the four-part, large-screen trilogy by Lionsgate Studios, which performed fairly well for its time.
Release Date and Other Details
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, is an action and adventure film, released in theatres, next year on November 17, 2023.
As it’s been seven years since the last Hunger Games movie, fans have high hope for the upcoming one and believe that it would sure as well take up on the heart as similar to the book franchise.
