Amanda Seyfried Joins As The Leading Role In The Crowded Room

Amanda Seyfried becomes a leading part of the first season of the series The Crowded Room. She joins the cast having Tom Holland who is also executive producing the series. This series is going to be a 10-episodes series.

About The Opening Season

Apple described The Crowded Room as a seasonal anthology. In this series, they will show the stories of those who have struggled and successfully survived with mental illness.

Since, it is the first season, the writer take his career on-screen. Further, he will show that part of his life which he faced. Apart from that, he will also show how the award-winning biography by Daniel Keyes, The Mind Of Billy Milligan inspired him.

Cast And Production

Tom Holland is playing the role of a man name, Danny Sullivan. Along with him, Amanda will play the role of a clinical psychologist and single mother. Further, in her career she has faced many challenges among which few of them were extremely challenging.

Kornel Mundruczo, who was the director of the famous drama Pieces of Women is directing this series. Alongside, Akiva Goldsman is writing the series. Further, he is executive producing the series for New Regency and Apple Studios through his Weed Road Production house.

Along with them, Alexandra Milchan of EMJAG Production, Suzanne Heathcote and New Regency’s Arnon Milchan and Yariv Milchan are executive producing the series.

Amanda was in a nomination for the Screen Actor Guild Award for outstanding performance for portraying Cosette in the musical video. She won the Satellite Award for Best Actress and earn the nominations for the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for the biographical movie Mank.

She was also in the nominations of the critics choice award and Saturn award.
