Adele reminded people that books are still capable of changing people
Adele had been in the news for a few months now, following her incredible weight-loss transformation. Her fans around the world got to see it for the first time after she uploaded a pic of her celebrating her 32nd birthday. And now the Grammy award winning singer revealed that it had been Glennon Doyle’s book Untamed that made her achieve all this.
Changing yourself for the better never goes out of style
“If you’re ready – this book will shake your brain and make your soul scream. I am so ready for myself after reading this book! It’s as if I just flew into my body for the very first time. Whew!”, she wrote for her 38.5 million followers on Instagram.
Adele added that whoever reads it must keep a highlighter in hand inorder to make notes because “you’ll want to refer back to it trust me!” She spoke about how she never realised that she would be responsible for her own happiness, joy and freedom. And on liberating ourselves, we can liberate the ones around us. In the end, she thanked author Glennon Doyle as well, to which she replied graciously.
The singer, who has a net worth of $190 million, worked with a personal trainer and has reportedly used the sirtfood diet for losing weight. The diet focuses on foods such as chocolate, walnuts and red wine that control a person’s metabolism.
Adele isn’t the only one who is working out for a healthier body. Hollywood star Rebel Wilson has also been putting in a lot of effort in losing weight, and even showed off her new figure in a yellow dress. She had dubbed 2020 as the “year of health.”
