The 85-year-old Larry King filed paperwork for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court Tuesday to end his 22-year marriage to actress Shawn King who is apparently his seventh wife.
The couple got married in 1997 in a hospital room, just three days prior to King’s surgery to clear a clogged blood vessel. They have two sons – Chance, 20, and Cannon, 19.
This is not the first time this is happening. They both filed for divorce in 2010 as well, because of “irreconcilable differences,” but ultimately got back together.
Larry King has been married in a total of eight times to seven different women, which includes Alene Akins, whom he married and divorced twice. The veteran TV and radio host has five children, including four sons and one daughter.
In April 2019, King was experiencing “angina,” describes as chest pain that is caused by reduced blood flow to the heart. He underwent a heart procedure after experiencing the same.

He wrote on the Instagram post:
“In life you never know what can happen at any given moment. This summer my Dad faced what looked like an insurmountable amount of health issues. When being told on multiple occasions that by several doctors that there was little hope, all I could think about was how there was nothing I wouldn’t do to get more time with him. He fought and his INDOMITABLE spirit pulled him through. I will be forever grateful for my Dad and the amazing man and example he is to me. Our love for each other is endless and everlasting. Difficult times can diminish you, define you, or DEVELOP you. Although this experience has been tough, it has been and continues to be a blessing. Pops is getting back to work, watching dodgers games, dinners at palm. Watch out world the man is back and better than ever! ❤️👑❤️👑❤️ “
