The Mosquito Coast’s Season 2 trailer releases!
The Mosquito Coast, based on Paul Theroux’s 1981 greatest book of the same title, follows Allie Fox, played by Justin Theroux, who is a brilliant innovator and willful optimist. He decides to relocate to Latin America with his family, leaving behind their livelihood in the United States.
But Allie and his family are compelled to flee as the US government begins to look for him because of his covert ties to the Mexican drug cartel, so this is not a random choice.
They are continuously on the lookout for the drug gang and the police as they travel across Mexico on their route to escape the US. Three extra episodes will be added to the second season compared to the first.
The Mosquito Coast season 2 Trailer
In the latest, two-and-a-half-minute trailer clip of The Mosquito Coast, we witness the Fox family adjusting to their new lives “off the grid” in Casa Rojas, a little refugee settlement located in the Guatemalan jungle.
The family is depicted in the teaser attempting to adjust to their new lifestyles while also learning about the sinister mysteries that lie beneath the “seemingly peaceful community.”
Even still, United States authorities are still looking for him to arrest him.
Allie finds himself caught up in a fight between his family and local drug kingpins along the way. His wife Margot, who is played by Melissa George, appears to be negotiating a deal that would involve her betraying her husband as the trailer comes to a close.
