Kyoani Festival: Kyoto Animation’s First-ever Music Festival Brings the World Together

Back in May, the Kyoto Animation announced its first ever music festival themed “inspiration for the future”. In recent updates on the Kyoto Animation festival, the first line-up for musicians and other activities has been revealed. Moreover, final artist listings for the first-ever music festival appear over two days. It includes songs from famous anime shows such as Free, Kobayashi Dragon Maid, Tamako Market, Violet Evergarden and more.

Nevertheless, in response to fan requests. Live streaming tickets for the Kyoto event have also gone on sale, with the stream available worldwide.  The event is scheduled for November 2o to November, 2021.

The venue for the performance will be the Kohm Kyoto Main Hall. The event will begin at 4:30 PM/JST and end at 7:30 PM/JST.

Additionally, the entire first day, November 20, will feature Mai Aizawa, SCREEN mode, Aya Suzaki, TRUE, Homecomings, LUCKLIFE, Tatsuya Kato, KITAUJI QUARTET, Azusa Tadokoro, and ChouCho. As a result, representing Tamako Market, Tsurune, Sound, Euphonium, Free, Myriad Colors Phantom World, and Liz and the Blue Bird.

Also, OLDCODEX has cancelled their performance at the event, since the band is currently on hiatus. Nobunaga Shimazaki, the voice of Haruka in Free, will also be present on the first day.

For the second day, November 21, there will be Mai Aizawa, Minori Chihara, TRUE, fhána, Aira Yuuki, ZAQ, Evan Call, Super Chorogons, and Black Raison d’être. As the representative of Violet Evergarden, Beyond the Boundary, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, and MUNTO.

A way for fans all over the world to unite

E+ is also offering Live stream tickets for people all over the world via its online service. In addition to the streamed version, the archive will be available for two weeks after the event has ended. Furthermore, each ticket costs 6,080 yen (US$55). In response to the positive response of fans, the international audience is ecstatic about the event. Furthermore, anime produced by Kyoto Animation always displays beautiful animation with vibrant colours. Due to efforts by studios, fans are more inspired than ever. After so many difficulties and tragedies in the past. Fans still love Kyoto animation.  As a thank you to fans who have supported the studio over the past couple of years, the Kyoto Music Festival was announced back in May with a theme of “inspiration for the future.”
