Season 3 of The Boys has been wild throughout, and continues to get wilder. Jensen Ackles was introduced as Solider Boy, the show’s version of Captain America, but with a completely twisted personality. Victoria Newman (Claudia Doumit) is now known by most characters as the head-popping supe, and is the adopted child of Stan Edgar (Giancarlo Esposito). After the events of season 2, The Boys is now closer to the government and has the support of more people in keeping superheroes in check. However, divisions within the group have reached an all-time high. In the midst of this comes Vought’s secret production of a new version of Compound V, that can temporarily make someone a superhero. Both Butcher and Hughie have been hooked to the stuff and have taken the fight to Homelander (Antony Starr).
