The ongoing pandemic has made it difficult for everyone to lead a normal life and hence, celebrities are trying all that they can to inspire their fans into doing things that are beneficial for them. One of those incidences is Andy. The world is suffering a crisis in its economy overall. Countries are short of producing health types of equipment and medicines and that brings the need for fundraising to fight the pandemic.
What has the star done?
The star has decided to read all the series of J.R.R. Tolkien’s work, The Hobbit during an announced Livestream on Friday. The 8th of May with the sole purpose of fundraising. The marathon event, called “a Hobbitathon” was going to take place at 10 AM as per the local time in the UK. Considering the length of the tedious activity, it will take more than half a day at least to completely read them all. As announced by Andy, he has put up a ‘GoFundMe’ for the activity, expecting about £100,000 (about $123,000) for two of U.K. organizations, Best Beginnings and NHS Charities combined.
