Creepshow, the classic horror series, premiered at 7 p.m. May 4 on AMC, ET. Creepshow is a comedy horror show based on the same-name 1982 film, written and directed together by the horror icons Stephen King and George A. Romero.
Arrange to be read, as the showrunner of the series is Greg Nicotero, creator of AMC’s other well-loved zombie show, “The Walking Dead.” Each show of Creepshow will be one hour long, featuring two ghost stories developed from books written by Stephen King, Joe Hill, Joe R. Lansdale, and Josh Malerman.
Episode 1 will include the “Grey Matter” narrative, a tale of what occurs when a drinking habit becomes unquenchable after a loved one’s death. Episode 1’s second story will be “The House of a Baby,” a tale about Evie with dolls as its favorite companions. But when a missing toy head emerges in her dollhouse, Evie realizes she can’t shield them anymore.
