The King’s Man: Prequel to the Kingsmen series; Cast, Release Date and Expected Plot

The King’s Man will be a direct sequel to the initial Kingsmen: the Secret Service and its sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Matthew Vaughn, the founder of the Kingsman Franchise with its swanky British super-spies, will be chronicling the history of the enigmatic group.

The whole series is based on the Comics series Kingsman, produced by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar, which carries on from England without any government monitoring the activities of a clandestine intelligence service.

The Kingsman films, known for their somewhat wild humor and sparkling action, should take a simpler approach in that prequel, though comedy would not nearly be so modern if trailers have a hint.

CAST OF THE KING’S MAN

The above-mentioned Duke of Oxford is played by Ralph Fiennes, a rich noble who founded the Kingsman organization. Harris Dickinson portrays Conrad, his friend, who yearns to be a soldier and helps the organization to be founded.

Gemma Arterton is playing Polly and Djimon Hounsou is playing Shola — both appear to work for the Duke, but do seem to be the Kingsman’s full leaders and saw plenty of action in the video.

Rhys Ifans eventually plays Grigori Rasputin, the famous Russian mystic of real life, who supposedly puts together a multinational gang of criminals, who plan to kill millions of people in The King’s Man.

PLOT OF THE KING’S MAN

The King’s Guy is the organization’s tale at the core of the first two movies. Throughout the development of this organization, Actor Ralph Fiennes plays the Duke of Oxford, creating “The first independent intelligence service.” Harris Dickinson plays the Duke’s son Conrad, defending him.

As elusive and corrupt criminals come together with sinister intent, the newly uncovered Kingsman’s leaders operate at no expense without oversight to maintain peace. But the backdrop of the First World War won’t be that straightforward.
