Created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris, Grace and Frankie is an American web series with the genre of comedy. Jane Fonda, playing the role of Grace and Lily Tomlin that of Frankie have indeed caused the success of the show. The two are best friends and always supportive of each other. The first season was released in 2015 that gained wide acceptance among the public. Next, in the year 2016, then 2017, 2018, 2019, and eventually the latest series in 2020.
Season 7
As was said before, in 2019, the show got renewed for the 7th season after Netflix had refused to do so. However, the concluding season will now be out by January 15th, 2021 as it can not be shot amidst the crisis.
Most of the series have either canceled their release or postponed the same. At such a time, the release of the 7th season seems in the not-so-near future. However, the previous 6 seasons will be available on Netflix.

Yes, the team made the public announcement themselves on twitter. The co-creator of the show went with the entire team of the show for a round of Q&A with their fans who asked them various questions, all revolving around the fact whether the 7th season would be out or not. To which the team firmly said, yes it will.
Plot
In the 6th season, Grace along with Frankie had a new and novel start. At a time when Grace got married to Nick Skolka and Frankie moves into her love adventure in the man she saw potential in, the two are getting ready for the Shark Tank presentation and their ex-partners, Sol and Robert, meanwhile are planning a honeymoon together. The 7th season will carry forward the same story.
