Joshua Jackson and wife Jodie Turner-Smith are first-time parents, as the couple announced the birth of their first child.
The PR team of the couple announced that the couple was blessed with a baby, and both the baby and the mother were healthy. A few days before announcing the birth of their daughter, Jodie Turner-Smith reflected on her “fantastic voyage” into motherhood, while her baby bump was on display in a photo.
Jackson found fame in “Dawson’s Creek” and is currently starring alongside Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon in “Little Fires Everywhere”, while his wife Jodie Turner-Smith is a British model and actress and she is known for her work in films like The Last Ship, Nightflyers, and Queen & Slim (2019).
Turner-Smith made their relationship official on Instagram in August of 2019, and that November, the couple made their red-carpet entrance while attending a film premiere. It was confirmed in December of 2019, that Jackson and Turner-Smith were done with their marriage after the couple walked out wearing rings and picked up a marriage license.
The pregnancy news was revealed when the couple stepped out together in Los Angeles in January, with the actress showing off her bump in a form-fitting dress.
Turner-Smith confirmed the pregnancy news on the 8th of March, on the occasion of International Women’s day. The PR team did not reveal the gender of the baby, but it was already confirmed the baby was a she, in an Instagram video prior to the birth.
Previously Jackson was pretty sure that he would be having a daughter, saying that his family doesn’t have a lot of boys and 80-90% of children have been girls.
It’s torrid time to handle pregnancy during the pandemic, but we are happy to hear that both the baby and couple are doing just fine.
