Aquaman 2 is currently in works and fans are enthusiastic about the succession. The first Aquaman film redefined the character and Jason Momoa created a Badass superhero-like Arthur Curry. Hopefully James Wan will be the producer because he was the biggest factor for Aquaman’s box office to be over a trillion dollars.
After the first film’s release, Warner Bros Studios officially confirmed Aquaman’s sequel. Here’s everything you have to know about Aquaman 2 release date, trailer, cast, and plot. Aquaman 2 will be released in theaters about four years after the first release of Aquaman on 16 December 2022.
Production for the sequel to Aquaman will start next year because the script is not yet finished. Like the Marvel movies that have confirmed the movie’s lineup in the years to come, DC’s film schedule is somewhat unclear. It is expected that Aquaman 2 trailer will come out in early 2022 because it will be time to get some teaser footage.
The second plot of Aquaman will be the King of Atlantis’ advancement of Arthur Curry after defeating his half brother Orm in the final battle. Black Manta is still poised for vengeance on Aquaman, but in the first half of the movie, the dispute will be resolved. There are so many wonderful characters in the series crafted directly out of the comic book.
One of the other DC characters, such as Shazam or Wonder Woman, can also have a little cameo, like Dr. Strange in Thor: Ragnarok, which progresses throughout the story. The list of cast members who will return to the Aquaman 2 movie is confirmed here.
