The American series debuted in 2013 has had 7 seasons already. The series is a memoir of Piper Kerman, called the Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison.

The crime series firstly needs to be acknowledged for its long run of 91 episodes in total. all the 7 seasons had 13 episodes each which completed the series.

As the title of the memoir suggests, the story is about a lady, named Piper Chapman who was played by Taylor Schilling is caught with drug trafficking and was imprisoned. That’s where the story commences from, the series shows the struggles of a lady prisoner and how she faces the backlash of flashing back memories on her mind from the past.
