Orange Animation Studio has turned Paru Itagaki’s manga series into an anime and it was given the same title of the manga series. The first season of the anime was aired from 8 October 2019 to 26 December 2019 on Fuji TV’s black, and the English version is licensed for Netflix. A very positive and popular response was received by the show since its release.

The fans are now waiting anxiously for the release of the second season. The series actually takes place in a world where civilized animal-people mingle with each other. They don’t even care about the social disparity of being Herbivores and Carnivores.

Release Date

If we are taking a look into the final episode of the previous season, we can see on the credit scene they have given us some hints and ideas about the second season.

The series cannot be expected to hit the screens by 2020. The team has announced that the season would not be released until 2021. It may take months to reach Netflix. Although, Season 1 was completed in December 2019, it was available on Netflix only by March 2020 beginning.Will the same happen for the next season too is unpredictable.

Plot

Mostly in the anime, they do not stay close to the manga series, but in Beastars, they did complete justice on adaption by staying on track with the manga. Almost 47 chapters got covered in the first season and at least 50 more chapters is to be covered in the second season, making a total of 97.

Anyway, we can assume that the number of episodes in the series would be around 98 by the second season. However, the anime fans would never expect or will ever want this fantastic series to end soon.
