With the entire world is on hold amidst the coronavirus pandemic, it’s the medical and health care workers who are working day and night towards making our lives better. It’s due to their hard work that we are can hope the world will be better again.
People, all over the world are now recognizing their efforts and appreciating the medical workers, and Mariah Carey and Sam Smith are the latest stars to share messages for the support healthcare workers fighting coronavirus to mark World Health Day. World Health Day is celebrated every year on the 7th of April.
Social Media website Twitter tagged the two entertainers in a list of stars to tweet clapping emojis to celebrate healthcare workers on the global health awareness day, backed by the World Health Organization (WHO). This practice mimics people’s evening ovations across the globe, as they stand outside on their galleries or front porches to clap in gratitude and support for the medical workers.

There’s not a lot you can do, apart from staying indoors and having good hygiene practices to help reduce the workload on the medical and health care workers. Words of encouragement and appreciation are all we can give right now, to the people saving millions of lives around the world.
