Demi Lovato, the 27 year old American singer has finally talked about in details on what led to her relapse in her first interview with Ellen since the her drug over dose since 2018.
Demi Lovato didn’t shy away from sharing the nitty gritty of her relapse. In a recent conversation with Ellen Degeneres on the Ellen show she talked about her eating disorder and how it led to her near-fatal overdose.
According to Demi, she was always kept an eye on by people close to her. In her words they also responsible for keeping an eye on her bank statements to monitor her eating habits, which Demi says was when she hit her breaking point.
Her Eating Habits Were Being Tracked!
The Sorry Not Sorry singer said that these things had let to her being really sad and miserable. My eating disorder was getting out of hand, and furthermore when she asked for help she didn’t receive any.
Demi Lovato further went to say that as her life was spiraling down and was out of control, she reached out for help from the people around her, who tagged her as self centered for not thinking about what her deeds and actions could have on others and their jobs.
She was isolated by her team and was not provided with proper help!
Not being given what she wanted to eat, having her bank account monitored at all times, and finally not getting the help she needed led Lovato to the path of doing drugs.
She was not taken care of by those that were supposed to have had her back
With the passing time, the regular drinking graduated to wild parties, and soon after that, Demi Lovato found herself doing drugs again.
