A Discovery Of Witches is a British television programme based on the chronological book All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness.. the series was first aired in September 2018 on Sky One. The series no doubt had an incapable record of success which in fact promoted the makers for the second and third season.the renewed seasons will be based on the sequel of series, Shadow of Night and The Book Of Life.

The story has an aura of itself and sets the background in the fictional world, the world of demons, wizard and witches with magical proficiency. Diana Bishop, a historian and reluctant witch comes across the bewitched manuscript that can change the fate of the world. The discovery forces her back into the world of magic in order to unravel the magical secrets that trouble the quest. She soon meets mysterious geneticist and vampire, Matthew Clairmont. Now to point out the fact that witches and vampire and not known to be befriended with each other due to mistrust and long history of mishappening. Neglecting the fact professor and Diana set to protect the book in which they develop interest toward each other, which in fact itself is interesting to watch guess why? The relationships between Vampires and witches are not allowed the duo fight back for their forbidden love. The plot still holds much to unveiled in the coming seasons.

The air date of the upcoming season has not yet revealed, but we definitely will have the second season in 2020. Well, the news of the lead cast being pregnant took many fans back as the thought that Plamer(Diana) will quit the show, to which she denied and even confirmed that she will soon join the crew.
