Liz Feldman ‘Dead to Me’ is a web television series of America. It is a black comedy series which shows the bonding between two women during therapy. The series was originally premiered on May 3, 2019, on Netflix. Till now, it has released only one season consisting of 10 episodes. The series was an instant hit upon its release and also received positive reviews.
The series was renewed for a second season by Netflix in June 2019. No official date for its release has been announced yet, but the second season is expected to drop in the spring or summer of 2020. On June 4, 2019, Christina Applegate tweeted a picture of her and co-star Linda Cardellini with the caption ‘My girl, we have got more time together, I Love You.’ No trailer as of yet has been released. Filming for the same has been wrapped.
Dead to Me Season 2: Cast and Plot
The original protagonist of the series, Christina Applegate as Jen Harding and Linda Cardellini as Judy Hale, will return. The additional cast of the series includes Max Jenkins as Christopher Doyle, Sam McCarthy as Charlie Harding, Diana Marie as Ana Parez, and Luke Roessler as Henry Harding. New cast Natalie Morales will appear in the second season. It is yet to be seen if more new casts will be added or not.
The finale of season one left the viewers in a cliff hanger with Judy’s ex-fiancee being shot by Jen after finding out that Judy was responsible for her husband’s death. Season 2 is expected to explore the light and dark sides of friendship, sorrow, forgiveness, and grief. Liz sated to The Hollywood Reporter that the show is not exactly going to be what the viewers are thinking.
