A QUIET PLACE 2: IS JOHN KRASINSKI TO RESUME HIS ROLE IN THE SEQUEL OR WE WILL SEE A CHANGE IN CAST?? CHECKOUT THE DETAIL!! [REVIEW]

The sci-fi horror genre has seen a new dimension with movies like A Quiet Place and Annihilation. While the first part of A Quiet Place, which came out in 2018, won many hearts due to its interesting plot, it also ended the screen time of actor John Krasinski with his death scene.

The film mostly revolved around the struggles of the Abbott family and how they lost their newborn child. The first trailer of the movie’s sequel was launched on 1st January 2020, which mentioned a flashback sequence based on the day one of the alien outbreak. However, the latest trailer gave a detailed account of the same.

In the flashback, Evelyn, played by Emily Blunt, is driving a car with her children. There are people screaming and crying, and cars crashing around her in the background. The scene also shows a bud moving back towards their car and a creature crawling out of the bus and shattering the car’s window.

The trailer showed the presence of Lee Abbott, the father played by John Krasinski, who is also the writer and director of the film, along with the group of people in the background. The rest of the trailer shows most of the shots already explored in the previous trailer, including the lines “People out there… People worth saving”.

The film is said to continue exactly from the timeline where it was ended in its first part. Though the flashback scene was an obvious way to include his character, sources say that the film has claimed not to follow the general structural format of films which shall differentiate it from the masses. This statement has gotten everyone thinking whether it’s a hint that Krasinski might resume his role as Lee Abbott in the film’s sequel.
