A Mountain Lion Suddenly Attacked A Small Boy! Details Given Below.
The whole terrifying incident occurred when a mountain lion lunged for a 3-year-old boy and grabbed him by the neck Monday in a California wilderness park. The whole incident took place the Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park in the rugged foothills of the Cleveland National Forest, about 50 miles southeast of Los Angeles.
After this sudden attack, the family ran out of the park and we’re immediately looked after by paramedics who quickly treated the child and transported him to a nearby hospital. The Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Fred Thompson has some new information regarding the whole incident. He revealed that luckily the child is alright now and out of danger. The mountain lion is no longer an issue.
What Happened To The Boy And The Mountain Lion?
According to reports, the boy was in stable condition Monday night. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has been citing a public safety threat and gave the local law enforcement the approval to euthanize the mountain lion. The news is revealed by the Orange County Fire Authority.
Another mountain bike was also injured and also likely by the same animal. She was however rescued by her riding companion. The whole incident was too violent as the animal tried to drag her head into the Bush. She was soon rescued by other fellow bicyclists. She indeed had a close save. Something disastrous would have happened otherwise. The danger of being attacked is always there it seems for the people out there.
