American Horror Story Actor Harry Hains dies at 27

Harry Hains was struggling with addiction at the time of his death

American Horror Story star Harry Hains passed away at the age of 27 on Tuesday, January 7. He was apparently suffering from mental illness and addiction as the time of his death. Harry’s Mom, Jane Badler who is the American actress known widely for her work as an antagonist in NBC’s ‘V,’ confirmed the news of her son’s demise on her Instagram page.

Jane shared an album of Harry’s pictures, the thumbnail had a text inscribed on it which read, “Please join us to celebrate this truly extraordinary life.” In the caption, she talked about her son and his unfortunate demise, she writes On Jan 7 my beautiful son died. He was 27 and had the world at his feet.” Confirming his illness and addiction, she wrote that sadly he struggled with mental illness and addiction.

The pain of a mother came out through her words as she addressed to her dead son and wrote that she will miss him every day of her life. It was a brilliant spark that shone bright too short a time

Though she didn’t reveal the reason for his death, she has requested the presence of people at his memorial service in the caption, “If you are in LA and know harry there is a service for him at Hollywood Forever Sunday. The memorial will take place on Jan 12 at 3 PM, 6000 Santa Monica Blvd, “RSVP [email protected].”

Born in Melbourne, Australia, Harry lived a larger part of his life in the UK and the USA. He was currently based in Los Angeles for his work in Hollywood. He got his big break in 2015 when he appeared in Ryan Murphy’s hit anthology ‘American Horror Story’ and a part of Netflix’s supernatural drama ‘The OA.’

Last post on his Instagram is from the New Year party where he was with a female. He had written a very positive and excited caption to welcome the new era.

He left the world too soon. Our thoughts are with his family.
