The American composer and the singer, Danny Elfman is back in town as he is all set to perform on the upcoming Coachella Fest in April 2020.
Fans are really excited to see him perform onstage
The man from Los Angeles who started with rock band Olingo Boingo before going on to score such films as The Nightmare Before Christmas and the all-time favorite movie Spiderman. He was the one who wrote the theme of a very famous cartoon The Simpsons. Now he is ready to present himself on the stage of Coachella Valley Music & Art Festival in 2020 and people are so glad as they would get to see such a versatile actor. Many of them are awaited to listen to his songs.
Elfman is scheduled to perform on the two-weekend fest’s second night i.e. April 11 and 18. He is listed in bold on the second line of Coachella’s poster, alongside Flume, Radiohead’s Thom Yorke, Disclosure, 21 Savage, DaBaby and Summer Walker. Other acts on the bill this year: Lana del Rey, Calvin Harris, Run the Jewels, FKA Twigs and Lil Uzi Vert.
According to the sources, Elfman’s performance hasn’t been decided yet but it would be safe to say that he is not going to perform on Olingo Boingo music. He hasn’t performed with the band ever since he broke up with his girlfriend in the year 1995. He has also been away from public singing at all until he began performing occasional concerts of his Tim Burton film scores in 2013.
At those orchestral performances, which he has staged in recent years, Elfman sings some of the material from A Nightmare Before Christmas. In 2018, he also brought a former Oingo Boingo guitarist, Steve Bartek, onstage to perform Deadman’s party. He hasn’t performed much in recent years which has raised the curiosity of his fans that they would finally get to see him.
