Popular show The Walking Dead is set to premiere on Sunday, October 6 on AMC in the USA. The countdown has begun for season 10 and fans are eagerly waiting for the horror series’ return.
After the tense and dramatic finale of season nine in which a mysterious voice was heard on an unmanned radio in its last moments, TWD fans are desperate what will happen next!
And to add to the excitement, Fox released the first look pictures. We’ve got a few clues!
Look at the exclusive pictures from Season 10 of The Walking Dead
The first picture is of Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Michonne (Danai Gurira). Now, if you remember, earlier this year, it was announced that actress Gurira would be leaving the AMC series this season. But her impending departure didn’t deter the mood on-set, as Michonne and Daryl are seen sharing a laugh on the beach in the season 10 premiere.
In the second picture, The Walking Dead’s leading man is shown with Carol (Melissa McBride). While fans are hoping for a Carol/Daryl romance, the picture says otherwise. Both are looking on edge, so is a battle with the Whisperers happening in the first episode itself?
Next, the third picture is a welcome return for Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). As Negan is now an essential part of the community’s battle strategy, it looks like he will have no choice but to fight with the people he would once callously slaughter. Therefore, a first-look at Negan shows him in work overalls. Above all, he’s out of his prison cell.
Meanwhile, the new additions to the cast in season nine, Judith Grimes (Cailey Fleming) were able to impress the audience. She was introduced after the time-jump in season nine. So, the next picture shows Judith sporting her father Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) cowboy hat. She is conversing with a fellow young survivor.
The next picture is that of Ezekiel (Khary Payton) accompanied by his loyal right-hand man Jerry (Cooper Andrews). The duo looks like they’ll have to battle with a group of Walkers in the premiere. They will approach an abandoned ship on the beach.
Also, Alden (Callan McAuliffe) has returned and he continues to deal with the grief caused by Enid’s (Katelyn Nicon) death.
Moreover, Rosita (Christian Serratos) is trying to grip with motherhood while the resolute Eugene (Josh McDermitt) offers his help.
The Walking Dead season 10 will launch on Sunday, October 6 on AMC.
