Netflix releases dates for upcoming movies including Stephen King and Joe Hill’s “In The Tall Grass!” Check out all the details here!

The novel written by father-son duo, Stephen King and his son Joe Hill, which was published in Esquire is all set to turn into a movie. The name of the book is “In The Tall Grass” and is also available as an e-book. The movie is directed by Splice director, Vincenzo Natali.

The plot of the story revolves around a sister and brother duo who venture out in the fields of Kansas because they hear a young boy’s cry for help. Upon entering the fields, they realize that there is no way out. Worst of all, there is evil which lurks within the tall grass of the fields.

Other fresh details that are revealed by Netflix through a press release are that the movie will be premiering through the online platform from October 4. With this, Netflix has also released a poster of the film which looks pretty scary.

The star cast of the film includes Aquaman actor Patrick Wilson. Others who will be featuring include Laysla De Oliveria and Avery Whitted who will play the role of sister and brother, Becky and Cal respectively. The other members of the cast include Harrison Gilbertson, Rachel Wilson, and Will Buie Jr.

The movie “In The Tall Grass” will be Stephen King’s third project with Netflix. His previous two projects which were streamed by Netflix were “1992” and “Gerald’s Game” which were warmly received.

In an interview with Screen Daily, Natali said that Stephen King and Joe Hill have transformed an otherwise innocuous Kansas field into a stage for some of the most disturbing horror fiction she has ever read.

Along with “In TheTall Grass”, Shadow of the Moon (September 27), Fractured (October 11), Eli (October 18) and Rattlesnake (October 25) will be also released.
