The Flash Movie: “You Won’t Believe Which DC Villain is Making a Comeback!”

Michael Shannon Confirmed to Reprise Role as General Zod in The Flash.

Man of Steel actor Michael Shannon is set to make a comeback in the upcoming DC Extended Universe movie, The Flash, as General Zod. While it remains unclear whether The Flash will feature Reverse Flash, fans are excited to see Shannon return to the franchise after his role in the 2013 film.

Shannon recently revealed that he was a bit taken aback when director Andy Muschietti approached him to play General Zod again. “As memory serves me, I think I died in Man of Steel. Are they sure they got the right guy?” he joked. However, the director explained the concept of the multiverse to Shannon, which cleared up any confusion.

Explaining further, Shannon revealed that he is not a huge fan of superhero movies, but he thoroughly enjoys working on them. “I can’t say that I’m a huge consumer of this genre of films — not that I have anything against them. If I’m going to watch a movie, the odds are it’s not going to be one of those, but I sure love making them,” he said.

When will The Flash be release?

The Flash, which stars Ezra Miller in the titular role, is set to hit theaters on June 16, 2023. Fans can’t wait to see how the movie ties into the larger DC Extended Universe and what role General Zod will play in the story.
