Looks like Orlando Bloom has not yet become used to fiancée Katy Perry’s hilarious ways. Bloom needs to familiarize more with Perry’s “Roar”.
Recently this week, Orlando Bloom dropped by a chat on BBC Radio 1. At the chat, Bloom participated in a game where the actor had to choose the best celebrity impression from a group of call-in listeners. The game began with an impression of The Dark Knight Rises‘ Bane. Bloom praised it saying, “a very bold attempt”. Then, he expressed that he was impressed by a caller channeling Sir David Attenborough.
Apparently, one of the callers was “Gemma” who intended to mimic Perry. To this, Bloom joked, “I’ll be judge of that!”
“Gemma” was trying to feature a British accent and then do a rendition of the singer’s breakout 2008 hit I Kissed a Girl. The Pirates of the Caribbean alum was not at all convinced with the voice. And he later explained that it was hard for him because he does live with that voice.
However, finally, it was revealed that it was Perry herself behind “Gemma”. She teased Bloom saying, “Honey, I thought you knew me better”. Perry went on with her teasing, jokingly asking him if they should really be going down the long road if he can’t even tell her voice.
The Lord of the Rings actor was all surprised and praised Perry saying, “That was so good, babe, because you know what you did? You sort of did the English version of you, which you do so well”.
Bloom and Perry got engaged this year in February. The couple is on the way to get their names among the other power couples of Hollywood. What is most commendable about their companionship is their support for each other’s respective careers.
