In a recent interview, Bonnie Chapman shared the last moments of her mother Beth’s consciousness before her death. Beth died this year on the 26th of June fighting throat cancer.
Neither Bonnie nor her father Duane Chapman has been able to get over Beth’s final moments of consciousness. Beth was the head of their loving family and her loss burdened both, father and daughter. In an interview, Bonnie said that her 66-year-old father, Duane still goes over and over what happened at Beth’s final moments of consciousness. He cannot forget it all easily.
On the 26th of June, Beth was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre, Honolulu. Bonnie says her mother quite literally choked on her cancer as Beth was suffering from throat cancer.
Bonnie recollects Beth’s final moments and stated that Beth was naked in the bathroom and asked her husband Duane to look at her. Duane informed Beth that he was looking at her. But Beth again asked him to look at her. Then, Beth began to gasp when Bonnie’s sister rushed into the room. They called 911 immediately and took Beth to the hospital.
Bonnie tells that Beth could have gone further to talk to her family before her death. But she was put into a medically induced coma.
Earlier in July, post-Beth’s death Bonnie had discussed her parents’ relationship in a Q&A on Instagram. A fan asked if Duane was looking forward to getting married again. To this, Bonnie stated that Duane had found his soulmate in Beth. He cannot replace her ever. Bonnie also stated that it was her parents’ love that made her believe in the existence of true love.
