Honk For Jesus. Save Your Soul is an American dark comedy satire. Adamma Ebo is the director of the film and she is co-producing with the twin sister Adanne Ebo. The Ebo twins are making their debut feature film with it.
Focus Feature, the Monkeypaw and the Peacock production have taken over the global right to Sundance Film Festival premier Honk For Jesus. Save Your Soul. It will soon receive a day and date for the theatre and on Peacock later this year. As per reporters, the deal was worth $8.5 million.
Movie’s Theme
In this film, the first lady of the southern Baptist mega-church, Trinitie Child attempts to help her pastor husband rebuild their congregation.
She carries an immense responsibility on her shoulder. After a scandal involving her husband, Pastor Lee-Curtis Child, the church was temporarily shut down. Further, this leaves the lady to manage the aftermath. Now, she and her husband have to rebuild their team and their faith at any cost to make their greatest comeback.
Cast And Production Companies
Ebo twins, Daniel Kaluuya through his Production house, Rowan Riley and Amandla Crichlow are the producers of the film. Along with them Matthew Cooper, Kara Durrett, Jessamine Burgum and Hall and Brown are also there.
Regina Hall, Sterling K. Brown, Theodus Crane, Beharie, Austin Crute are starring in the movie along with few other stars.
