Gary LeVox concedes he was “never ok” with the Rascal Flatts’ disbandment.
The much-celebrated country band Rascal Flatts recently declared their dispersal. Earlier in 2020, the band announced their separation along with their 20th-anniversary farewell Life is a Highway tour at CBS This Morning. Nevertheless, the tour didn’t happen, given the pandemic situation.
The fans of the Rascal Flatts can’t seem to digest the demise of the group. In fact, the band’s end seems to be quite murky even today!
Recently, one of the band members Gary LeVox, revealed in an interview with PEOPLE yesterday that he can’t seem to get over the band’s split. Read on to find out what LeVox had shared further!
Gary LeVox has not yet moved on from the group’s split
The Country music trio Rascal Flatts includes Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney, and Jay DeMarcus. The band is known for its legendary works like My Wish, Bless the Broken Road, and What Hurts the Most. It’s pretty woeful that we won’t be able to get such jewels from the band anymore.
Gary LeVox also seems to be deeply affected by the trio’s separation. He concedes in a recent interview, “I was never okay with… I wasn’t happy that Joe Don [Rooney] quit”. He further explained how the decision came out of nowhere and how he hated the unexpected ending of their group. Gary LeVox then added, he hated that they didn’t get to do this farewell tour. He continued stating that he can’t stand the fact that it just feels there’s no closure with something that they’ve been so blessed with and that it will always be in his heart.
Rascal Flatts members’ present career
However, the trio seems to move on and concentrate on their careers further. After the dispersal, Rooney (46) joined a studio with a few other emerging artists, and LeVox (51) followed a solo career. He even released an album. Finally, DeMarcus (50) pursued his music labels Red Street Records.
