Moving On, a comedy screenplay written and filmed by Paul Weitz, reunites Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda for major roles. The film set to produced by Andrew Miano, Stephanie Meurer, and Weitz.
Chris Parker and Dylan Sellers of Limelight are funding and producing Moving On, which slated to begin production in Los Angeles at the end of this year. Executive producers are Dan Balgoyen and Britta Rowings.
Paul Weitz’s Moving On, a film about two best friends. They reconnect at a funeral and decide to seek revenge on a widower who harmed them decades before.
The actresses, now starring in the Netflix comedy “Grace and Frankie,” which will conclude with the next season seven. The fans of Grace and Frankie are overjoyed that the Netflix comedy has been extended for another season. But the news was bittersweet because the show’s going to end soon.
Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin’s decades of friendship
Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin portraying enemy to unlikely-friends pushed together after their spouses disclose that they’ve been having relations and intend to marry in the Netflix smash Grace and Frankie. In reality, the two women had known one other and close for decades.
Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin met after Jane watched Lily act in a Broadway play and decided she wanted to work with her right away. Years ago they met, Lily was a great fan of Jane’s at that time owing to her fierce advocacy and acting career, as per sources.
