What differentiates reboot from 2012 series
In the past, Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen battled it out for the distinction of hottest, most talked-about adolescent girl in the Upper East Side. Formerly estranged half-sisters will now appear to be at the centre of the main conflict in the show.
Julien Calloway the daughter of an award-winning music producer. On the other hand Zoye Lott from a family that isn’t that wealthy, but her father loathes the rich. They’ve become bitter enemies. But the root of their discontent much more complex than simply wanting to be the most popular girl or attract the attention of a boy. In short class tension is one of the major components of the show’s setup.
The renewed version of the show had become an internet sensation. Total 15 billion social impressions at the time of the series’ launch, including 5.2 billion from TikTok content inspired by the series. Tavi Gevinson and Emily Alyn Lind among the show’s star-studded cast. Similarly Todd Almond and Adam Chanler-Berat and Johnathan Fernandez and Jason Gotay round out the cast.
