Far Cry 6’s latest trailer reveals some bizarre crossovers
With Far Cry 6 ready to roll in a few weeks, Ubisoft released a post-launch overview trailer. The video gives us a preview of some bizarre crossovers with some popular franchises. The trailer also revealed the details of season-pass and roadmaps.
Major Crossovers
Over a year, Ubisoft has planned to release three free missions, each with a unique crossover. First comes “Danny and Dani vs Everybody.” This mission sees the protagonist Dani Rojas uniting with the actor Danny Trejo (Machete Kills). Apparently, Rojas will help Trejo in delivering tacos across Yara. We can expect this crossover towards the end of December 2021.
Later, in February 2022, we get to see a Rambo episode named “Rambo: All the Blood”. A super fan of Rambo will go on a rampage inspired by an 80’s Blockbuster. Finally, a Stranger things crossover titled “The Vanishing”. Probably, this is one of the most unexpected crossover ever! The mission includes finding your friend Chorizo in a Stranger things inspired setting. Plus, you can play all these in solo or co-op mode.
Special operations and Season-pass
Ubisoft will add an additional six operations to the game after its release. These operations will take place in brand new locations set in the game world. These operations include stealing bombs from arms dealers and transporting them to the deactivation points. Well, here’s the catch! Make sure they don’t heat up and explode on the way. The first two of these operations, Mesozoico and Maceo will be available on the premiere day. While the remaining four will be released later.
The season pass gives players three DLC missions along with a copy of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. The three DLC episodes facilitate the players to understand the minds of villains from previous instalments. However, we can only meet Vaas Montenegro in November this year. We can meet Pagan Min in January 2022, followed by Joseph Seed in March 2022. Furthermore, players with the season pass get access to the remaining post-Launch roadmap.
Finally, the game is all ready to premiere on October 7, 2021. Also, it will be available on PC, Xbox One, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and, Stadia.
